We are looking for a skilled and experienced Demand Planning who can lead our forecasting, planning and S&OP activities in New Zealand.
The successful candidate will build and manage all Amplifon NZ’s forecasting, purchasing and inventory tasks.
The focus will be the establishment of best in class forecasting practices, aimed at guaranteeing a high service level to consumers, while optimizing inventory and minimizing costs. This is a key role in managing the complete inventory cycle for Amplifon New Zealand. It includes managing the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, managing inventory in clinics and the central warehouse, optimizing replenishment in both clinics and the central warehouse, and identifying and implementing inventory and planning process improvements.
There is a strong connection to the Amplifon global supply chain community, which this role will participate and contribute to help growth the supply chain function.
Key Responsibilities:
S&OP
Guide and execute the Sales and Operations Planning, incorporate market trends and uplifts in the forecasting process, create awareness on inventory and supply across all levels of the organization Manage the monthly and annual demand planning process – adhere to global approach and guidelines Establish and maintain effective relationships with external suppliers and act as the main point of contact for planning and forecastingInventory and replenishment
Drive adoption of the global stock model within NZ, defining clear targets on the various stock elements, communicating and reporting estimations to global Identify and implement the appropriate stock policy, to ensure rotation and optimize working capital and maximize service levels, ensure a strong focus on continuous improvement Monitor and update target service level at the SKU level Plan long-term purchasing mix/volumes and short-term orders Optimize replenishment flows to the shops and through inter-shops flows Manage local inventory in warehouse to reflect budgeted inventory targets Develop a process to support inventory in clinics to reflect budgeted inventory targets Forecast short-term and long-term demand (1PC items) demand & purchasing plan Oversee inventory replenishment activities, manage all inventory PO’s Generate KPI and performance reports and implement corrective action Provide demand planning insights , developing inventory strategies in warehouse and clinics Manage, monitor and report on inventory (Excess/OBS) vs. Budget, provide key actions Gathering updates on vendors, distributors, sales, and other stakeholders that can affect demand Updating forecasts for new products, seasonal products, discounts, and promotions Ensure global tools are properly adopted, updated and brings the value expected to optimize service level and inventory.About you:
At least 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain of which at least 2 years as Demand \ Supply planner Working knowledge of the most advanced technology in Supply Chain management (SAP IBP \ SAP APO \ Oracle Cloud Solution \ JDA) Awareness of Supply Chain latest trend and technology, preferably even Supply Chain certified (APICS) BS degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field Extensive Logistic and Distribution background Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, problem-solving, verbal and written communication Strong coaching and leadership skills, ability to motivate employees. Decisiveness and attention to detail Experience in leading and delivering significant change with impacts across people, process, and systems Significant relevant work experience in complex Organization and structured Supply Chain Experience establishing metrics, KPIs and drive of positive changes within the businessWhat’s in it for you?
