About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Specialist to join our IBP Supply Chain team. This role serves as the operational link between PMI Market and the PMI Supply Chain, focusing on multi-category planning. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating market plans into concrete demand plans, ensuring stock sufficiency, preparing analyses for IBP meetings, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
What Your Day Looks Like:
1. Demand Planning:
Translate market plans into a concrete demand plan, capturing relevant data and business intelligence.Update the demand template for an 18-month rolling forecast in the SC planning system for each finished product variant.Ensure all market activities, such as price increases, tax changes, regulatory updates, new product launches (NPLs), and commercial programs, are included in the forecast.Collaborate with Sales Planning and Business Planning teams to formulate demand and supply plans for specific SKUs.Upload sales forecasts accurately in the Supply Chain System and maintain master data for planning and ordering purposes.Align with Global Category Team, Regional Customer Service, and Markets on product lifecycles for both CC and SFP.Provide analysis and highlight foreseeable risks and opportunities.
2. Stock Management:
Review and propose stock policies to achieve optimal stock levels within the PMI network.Validate assumptions factored into stock policies periodically.Work with supply planners to ensure the demand plan is fully supported and DOI targets are achieved.Monitor productions and shipments as per plan and highlight concerns on production status or risks on LOGD or OOS to PMI Market's planning lead/supervisor/manager.
3. IBP Meetings:
Prepare analyses and create dashboards in Power BI for IBP meetings.Ensure all action items raised in IBP meetings are followed through to closure and alignment between stakeholders.Ensure all information cascaded to stakeholders is up-to-date.
4. Inventory Analysis:
Provide analysis on inventory movements for SFP during RF cycles and planning cycles.Analyze variances in sales and ending inventories.Ensure transparency on NPLs status and LOM/GD during IBP discussions.Quickly provide analysis on sales scenarios and stock supportability during business interruptions (e.g., pandemics).
5. Continuous Improvement:
Perform knowledge transfers, handbook documentation, and confirmation with affiliates on process migration and new affiliates.Participate as a key user to improve or replace existing systems and procedures.Act as a member on projects and perform UAT.Seek continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in the demand planning process.Explore ways to reduce inventory and minimize costs (e.g., air to sea) by anticipating supply constraints.
What You Need to Have:
At least 2-3 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, finance, or commercial functions.University or postgraduate degree in a relevant field.Rich experience in supply chain processes.System proficiency (E2Open, SCIPIO, Power BI, SAP, Tagetik, etc.).Strong communication skills to thrive in a multicultural working environment.Predictive capabilities to anticipate issues and opportunities.Analytical savvy for data-driven decision-making.Business acumen to effectively communicate analysis and link it to the business environment.Influencing skills to drive process improvement.Interpersonal skills to build meaningful relationships with stakeholders.Leadership skills to lead others and implement process improvement changes.
Work Schedule and Location:
Generally, Mondays to Fridays, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, on a hybrid work arrangement with a minimum of 3 days on-site.Based in 8 Rockwell, Makati Head Office.
