What will I be doing?
As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience.
\nA Demi Chef de Partie will also be required to assist with food cost controls. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nConduct shift briefings in the absence of the Manager to ensure smooth operations.\nPrepare food, beverages, materials, and service equipment; cook and serve menu dishes.\nSupervise Kitchen helpers, including Commis, Cooks, Kitchen Attendants, and Stewards.\nMaintain cleanliness and reset work areas.\nSupport staff performance with on-the-job training, coaching, and appraisals.\nEnsure staff attendance at Corporate Orientation within the first month.\nAddress policy breaches with constructive feedback and disciplinary actions when necessary.\nPrepare and implement induction programs for new employees.\nCollaborate with superiors on budget preparation and financial targets.\nEnforce cost-saving and recycling measures.\nMonitor and report security incidents and accidents.\nAdhere to and enforce Food Safety Standards and Personal Hygiene Rules.\nEnsure timely monitoring of Food Safety Checklists.\n\nAdditional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel
