A Demi Chef de Partie with Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts are responsible for preparing and presenting high quality dishes to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience while assisting with food cost controls.
\nWhat will I be doing?
\nAs a Demi Chef de Partie, you will assist in preparing high-quality dishes while ensuring smooth kitchen operations. You will work closely with the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef to maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene, delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests in a relaxed yet luxurious beachfront setting. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
\n\nPrepare and present high-quality dishes within company guideline.\nAssist in preparing and cooking dishes according to hotel standards and guest preferences within company guideline.\nEnsure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all menu items.\nSupport the section chef in mise en place preparation, ensuring ingredients are fresh and ready.\nMaintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen at all times. Ensure no cross contamination\n Ensure proper storage and labelling of ingredients.\nWork closely with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during busy service hours.\nCommunicate effectively with front-of-house staff to accommodate guest requests.\nAssist in training and guiding junior chefs or kitchen assistants when needed.\nMonitor stock levels and assist with inventory control.\nEnsure kitchen equipment is used properly and report any maintenance issues.\nAssist other departments wherever necessary and maintain good working relationships\nReport maintenance, hygiene and hazard issues\nComply with hotel policies, security, fire regulations and all health and safety and food safety legislation\n\nWhat will it be like to work for this Hilton Worldwide Brand

\n\nPrevious experience as a Demi Chef de Partie in a high-end beach club, luxury resort, or fine dining restaurant.\nStrong knowledge of grill, seafood, Mediterranean, and light poolside cuisine.\nAbility to work in a fast-paced, outdoor kitchen environment.\nPassion for food and creativity in presentation.\nStrong understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations.\nExcellent teamwork and communication skills.\nFlexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.\n
