We are seeking reliable and hard-working Demo Laborers to join a growing construction team based out of Williamsburg, VA. The ideal candidate will be physically capable of performing manual labor and comfortable traveling to various job sites across the surrounding areas. A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required during the initial temp period.
This role involves heavy demolition work, site cleanup, and supporting general construction tasks. It offers long-term growth potential, with the opportunity to take on supervisory responsibilities based on performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:Perform demolition work and site cleanup, including lifting and hauling debris such as concrete, flooring, wood, and other materials
Travel to job sites around the area
Operate hand tools and assist with general labor tasks on construction sites
Follow all safety protocols and job site regulations
Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Take direction from supervisors and work independently with minimal oversight
Maintain professionalism and reliability on all assigned tasks
Requirements:Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required)
Physically fit and able to work long shifts (8–10 hours), performing heavy labor
Comfortable working on feet for extended periods and lifting heavy materials
Prior experience with demolition contractors, general contractors, or excavation companies is preferred
Construction experience is a plus, but not required
Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a safety-first mindset
Work Environment & Physical Demands:Very physically demanding – frequent lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling of heavy objects
Exposure to dust, debris, and outdoor elements
Work may involve extended periods of walking, standing, and manual labor
