As our **Denials & AR Analyst** , you will help R1 clients by analyzing claims to resolve complex accounts. Every day, you will conduct root cause analysis and gather and correct claim information to resolve insurance company medical denials. To thrive in this role, you must excel in a metrics-driven environment and have strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities. Prior denials or AR experience with physician-based claims and experience working in a production-based environment is preferred. We will teach you our industry-leading technology and a variety of skill sets to help you excel in your new position. **Here’s what you will experience working as a Denials & AR Analyst:** + Investigate and analyze physician-based claims to identify denial reasons; gather and correct claim information to resubmit claims + Contact payers to learn the status of previously resubmitted claims or updates on incoming claims payments. + Utilizing strong attention to detail, you will calculate expected claim reimbursement and notate accounts with updates received via email/phone from commercial or government payers + You can expect a team you can rely on, including a mentor who cares about your progress toward your career goals **Required Skills:** + High school diploma, GED or equivalent + Physician based billing and follow up experience with government and commercial payers For this US-based position, the base pay range is $17.58 - $27.14 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
