We are looking for a team player, with a strong background in Denim R&D, who will collaborate with our Design and Collection Management teams to understand seasonal needs and who will deliver against BOSS aesthetics while achieving corporate targets.

 

What you can expect:

\n\tFabric and local trim research and development, considering collection briefing, market requirements, minimum quantities and lead times\n\tProactive research for innovation, trends, sustainability and technology including performance fabrics\n\tResponsible for the entire fabric and local trim development process\n\tCollaborate with material/ digital creation to develop 3D fabrics/ trims\n\tSample ordering, leftover management, counter sourcing and price negotiations\n\tClose collaboration with interfaces and suppliers\n\tResponsibility for sample orders and tracking, within the given timeline\n\tPLM/SAP Data maintenance\n\tAttend fabric shows and travel/ visit vendors/ mills

Your profile:

\n\tStrong sense of fashion, function and sustainability, colours and trends\n\tSuccessfully completed apprenticeship or studies in textile environment\n\tStrong knowledge on fabric treatments and washes\n\t4-5 years professional experience in raw material field in apparel industry\n\tKnowledge of fabrics (production process, finishing and dying process, quality requirements, equipment) and the ability to understand design aesthetics and translate into fabrics\n\tFluent English (verbal and written)\n\tStrong IT skills (Outlook, MS Office, PLM/SAP)\n\tExperience with digital tools (CLOS3D)\n\tExcellent communication and organizational skills\n\tInterpersonal competence and conflict management skills\n\n\n
