Denman Linen Services, Inc. is a high performing production based facility with over 100 employees processing a wide range of high quality linen products. Denman Linen supports over 30 hospitals/clinics across three different states.

This position will enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employee’s workplace performance in alliance with company’s core values. You will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing and delivering curriculum and learning materials for managing all phases of training interventions.

This position will work collaboratively with the production supervisors, team leads and plant management to drive results. This position is responsible to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs for new and established Denman Services, Inc team members. Training is to be centered around written policies and procedures, and regulatory agencies requirements (including OSHA and accrediting bodies).. Training is to include continuous quality assurance checks and competency testing for new employees throughout the first year of employment and works in conjunction with management to develop plans of correction for substandard performance or unsafe acts. Coordinates and updates orientation and yearly competencies. Manages the annual assignment of Computer Based Learning (CBLs) modules to appropriate job codes.

This position requires full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Blessing Hospital. It is expected that the employee demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values while supporting the strategic plan, goals, and direction of the Performance Improvement Process (PIP) and Safety Plan at Blessing Hospital.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS Education/Training/Experience: REQUIRED: Manages New Hire Orientation Implement, train, and maintain corporate environmental, health and safety programs. Maintain all training records; both written and computer based. Develop and maintain an annual training calendar for site. Work with Production Supervisors and Team Leads to develop training interventions when needed Be present on the production floor, talking to employees and building relationships. Gather feedback from trainers and trainees after each educational session Maintain updated curriculum database and training records Research and recommend new training methods and technology Evaluate effectiveness of training courses and provide summary reports to management, determine impact of training on employee skills and corporate goals Establish and maintain sound relationships with employees to foster an inclusive environment Other duties as assigned High School diploma or equivalency Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including the use of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Power Point and other office products Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent customer services skills, ability to independently problem-solve, and perform basic mathematical calculations PREFERRED: Associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred License/Certifications/Special Requirements: Complete OSHA certification within one year of hire Pay Status: NON-EXEMPT HOURLY
