Join our dedicated team at Gundersen Health System as a Dental Assistant in our Orthodontics department.

Gundersen Health System is a physician-led enterprise recognized for delivering high-quality healthcare services across Wisconsin We are looking for a motivated and skilled individual to provide exceptional support to our dental professionals and ensure a positive experience for our patients.

Position: Dental Assistant
Department: Orthodontics
Hours: 32 hours per week
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:30 am – 4:00 pm

Locations: Downtown Dental Specialties, La Crosse

Key Responsibilities:

Taking and developing dental X-rays and impressions for orthodontic treatment planning.Educating patients on proper oral hygiene and care of orthodontic appliances.Ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalentDesired: 1-2 years of work experience in a dental practiceDesired: Minnesota State Dental Assistant LicenseCPR for Health Care Providers (with hands on learning)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsExperience working in electronic patient records (example Epic) is preferredAbility to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
