University Dental Health Services, Inc. (UDHS) is the faculty practice of the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine. UDHS employs faculty practitioners from a myriad of different specialties, including Oral Surgeons, Oral Maxillofacial Prosthodontists, Periodontists, Endodontists and Pediatric Dentists. This clinical environment allows the dental professional the opportunity to gain valuable experience with various specialty procedures. UDHS is a team-oriented clinic focusing on the spirit of challenge, reward and fun. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7:30AM-4:30PM (no evening or weekend hours).

Performs chairside dental assisting and radiography in a dental specialty clinic with patients who may have received sedation and/or outpatient general anesthesia. Provides client-based oral hygiene and appliance care and completes patient chart documentation in accordance with all applicable regulations. Maintains equipment, dispenses supplies, sets up for all procedures, and follows proper sanitization and sterilization procedures.
