Schedule (days/hours) Monday 8:40 to 5, Tuesdays 9:40 to 7, Wednesday 6:40 to 4:00 w/os Thursdays 9:40 to 7. Fridays 6:40 to 3 alternate Saturdays 6:40 12 Responsibilities Dental Assistant Responsibilities: As a Dental Assistant, you are in first face the patients will see; therefore, dental knowledge is not only important, but so is customer service! Making patients comfortable and relaxed is key to this role. Not only that, but the Dental Assistant will also be responsible for documenting both dental & medical history, and gathering any additional information needed from the Doctor. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Taking digital X Rays for patients Assist the Doctor by being fully prepared with instruments and materials needed for specific procedures Sterilize instruments & disinfect treatment rooms in accordance with OSHA, CDC and infection control guidelines. Expose high quality dental radiographs and take intra oral photos Provide high quality patient service to all patients Qualifications Dental Assistant Requirements: Chairside Assisting Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology, as well as ability to communicate procedures and terminology in a clear and effective manner Experience taking X-Rays, impressions, as well as make temporaries for crowns and bridges Demonstrate flexibility, especially in stressful situations Maintain a positive and respectful attitude Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance Compensation $20 - $24 per hour About Us Benefits are determined by employment status/hours worked and include paid time off (“PTO”), health, dental, vision, health savings account, telemedicine, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability insurance, employee discount programs, pet insurance, and a 401k plan.
