What You’ll Do:

Provide chairside assistance to oral surgeons and prosthodontists during surgical and implant proceduresAnticipate clinician needs and maintain a clear, organized treatment areaAssist with administration and documentation of local anesthesia, nitrous sedation, and IV sedation proceduresEnsure patient comfort, monitor well-being, and educate them on pre- and post-operative carePrepare, sterilize, and set up instruments and surgical trays, following strict infection control protocolsTake dental x-rays and prepare materials for impressions, as directedAssist with medical clearances and patient record managementSupport office operations by scheduling, greeting patients, and managing supplies when neededCollaborate closely with the surgical and prosthetic teams to ensure seamless patient care

Skills and Experience We’re Looking For:

Previous experience as a Surgical Assistant requiredValid certifications that meet applicable state requirementsStrong manual dexterity and ability to handle surgical instruments with precisionSelf-starter mentality with excellent focus on patient safety and careAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentExcellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
