Join a dedicated public health team focused on improving the oral health of the community. As a Dental Hygienist, you will provide preventative dental care and education under the supervision of a licensed dentist. This role includes hands-on care, patient education, and support for treatment planning. A great opportunity to serve in a collaborative and wellness-focused environment.
Responsibilities:Perform screenings, identify potential issues, and assist the dentist in diagnosis and treatment planningDeliver comprehensive hygiene care including x-rays, prophylaxis, scaling (including deep scaling with anesthesia), fluoride, and sealantsEducate patients and their guardians on oral hygiene practices and document interactions in patient recordsAdhere to HIPAA, OSHA, and infection control protocols; maintain clinical recordsAssist with operatory setup and breakdown between patientsQualifications and Requirements:Associate's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited college or universityCurrent Georgia dental hygienist licenseMinimum of two years of related dental hygiene experienceComfortable performing sedentary work with occasional standing or walkingMay serve as a lead worker as neededBenefits and Perks:$28.00 per hourMedical, Dental, and Vision Benefits401(k) with direct depositReferral Bonus ProgramPhysical Activity Breaks, Employee Assistance Program, and Worksite WellnessYour New Organization:
