As a National Account Representative, your main duty is to oversee a designated portfolio of Dentsply Sirona product categories. This entails working in close coordination with the internal Henry Schein Account Team. Your role involves engaging in proactive strategic and tactical planning, executing programs and sales initiatives, and managing relationships to achieve sales targets for Henry Schein.
Key Responsibilities:
Dealer Management:
+ Establish and cultivate strong relationships within Henry Schein's network.
+ Understand their specific needs, challenges, and goals.
+ Provide personalized support and guidance to help them succeed, whether through product knowledge, marketing assistance, or operational support
+ Foster collaboration between Henry Schein and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and alignment of objectives.
+ Regularly engage with Henry Schein leadership and staff to maintain rapport and address any concerns proactively.
Planning:
+ Develop strategic plans tailored to providing a great customer experience while aligning with Henry Schein and Dentsply Sirona’s sales objectives.
+ Identify key areas for growth and develop action plans to capitalize on them. This could involve launching targeted marketing campaigns, introducing new product lines, or optimizing pricing strategies.
+ Continuously monitor market trends and competitor activities to refine plans and be proactive in our approach.
+ Build strategic plans to achieve revenue goals and objectives.
Execution:
+ Take a hands-on approach to implementing tactical plans, ensuring that strategies are executed effectively and efficiently.
+ Coordinate with internal teams such as sales, marketing, and logistics to provide necessary resources and support.
+ Monitor progress towards sales targets, track key performance indicators, and address any deviations from the plan promptly.
+ Regularly communicate with Henry Schein to provide updates on progress and gather feedback for course correction as needed.
Relationship Management:
+ Develop and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels within Henry Schein.
+ Proactively engage with dealers to understand their evolving needs and preferences.
+ Serve as a trusted advisor, offering insights and recommendations to help dealers achieve their business objectives.
+ Foster a culture of collaboration and partnership, seeking input and feedback from all parties to drive mutual success.
Sales Objectives:
+ Play a pivotal role in helping achieve targeted sales objectives for Henry Schein within designated areas and branches.
+ Monitor sales performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and adjust strategies accordingly.
+ Develop innovative approaches to drive sales growth, such as bundling products, cross-selling opportunities, or exploring new market segments.
+ Collaborate closely with dealers to align on sales goals and strategies, ensuring a unified approach towards achieving mutual success.
+ Track performance, identify areas for improvement, and adapt strategies as needed.
Communication:
+ Maintain a regular schedule of monthly communication with the Henry Schein PCM team, conduct quarterly business reviews, and foster open communication to provide feedback and address daily tasks effectively.
+ Maintain open and transparent communication channels with stakeholders, keeping them informed about progress, challenges, and opportunities.
+ Regularly share updates on market trends, competitor activities, and internal initiatives that may impact sales results.
+ Actively listen to feedback from Henry Schein and internal teams, soliciting input on how to improve processes and drive continuous improvement.
Education, Experience and Competencies:
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
+ 7-9 years of relevant work experience or Masters’ degree plus 6 years relevant experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience
Certifications/Licensing:
+ Valid driver’s license is required.
Years and Type of Experience:
+ Prior sales experience required, preferably as a sales Manager; multiyear success in achieving sales targets.
+ Experience successfully executing sales strategies and building solid business relationships.
Key Required Skills, Knowledge, and Capabilities:
+ Ability to effectively manage a large geography and interact with top corporate management or customers on major items.
+ Ability to quickly learn and apply learning’s to a broad array of current and future situation.
+ Knowledge of principles and processes involved in business and organization planning, coordination, and execution. This includes strategic planning resource allocation, workforce modeling, leadership techniques, and production methods.
+ Knowledge of the policies and procedures involved in managing an organization’s risk exposures to achieve its objectives in a manner consistent with public interest, safety, environmental factors, and the law.
+ Ability to operate a motor vehicle on a daily basis up to 8 or more hours per day.
+ Ability to travel overnight as required.
