The Dental Specialist 1 manages and directs dental clinical care provided by pre-doctoral dental students and delivered to patients of the dental school; mentors and advises students related to dental clinical care; upholds the LLUSD standards of care. This role may be conducted in a "pod" or "module" setting ("team") without variance on the specific duties, but the breadth of student contact may be variable. This is a faculty position that has a faculty appointment (Assistant Professor). Faculty rank will be assigned based on the School of Dentistry Rank and Tenure guidelines. Performs other duties as needed.
