We have been selected as a Large Prime Contractor by the Defense Health Agency to provide Medical Support Services at Medical Treatment Facilities across the Country.
KBR is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dentist to provide high-quality dental care. This role involves treating active-duty service members, veterans and their families, ensuring optimal oral health through preventative diagnostic and therapeutic services.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs a full range of professional dental tasks including treatment of commonly encountered dental diseases or dental health problems requiring standard corrective, restorative or preventive measures such as single and multiple teeth extractions, restoration of simple and compound cavities with standard and prescribed material, taking mouth impressions for crowns, jackets, dentures and bridges and fitting and inserting the finished appliances. Ensures correct patient identification through the use of at least two unique patient identifiers and perform site verification, as required. Enters workload production data into reporting system.
REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Degree: Doctor of Medical in Dentistry (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS).Education: Graduate from an accredited dental school approved by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA) of the American Dental Association (ADA). Specialty Dentist must be a graduate of a dental specialty training program that is accredited by the CODA of the ADA or an accepted equivalent program.Certification: Board eligible or board certified as required in the TO.Internship/Residency: Specialty Dentist: Completed a clinical post-doctoral program approved by the ADA in the specialty identified in the TO.Experience: As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions. Shall have been employed for at least one (1) year on a full-time basis in the practice of dentistry or be a recent (1-year) graduate of an accredited, post-graduate dentistry training program. Dental specialists shall have a certificate of training in their specialty are from an ADA-accredited residency program.Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a dentist.Base Compensation:
$184,500 - $276,800
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s working location, knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
