As Department Analyst I, you function as a primary resource for operating units of data collection and evaluating operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets and procedures. On the Gift Accounting team, you will collaborate with five colleagues and one manager to discover new innovations and develop reasonable goals. You will be part of a hands-on and encouraging culture, where every caregiver is valued for their contributions to Cleveland Clinic. After two years of successful progress, the opportunity for a step promotion to Department Analyst II may present. This position is an excellent steppingstone to other management and leadership roles at Cleveland Clinic.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00AM – 5:00PM, with a Hybrid schedule at Cleveland Clinic Administrative Campus.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units. Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets and programs and prepare reports based on analysis. Conduct basic statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance and identify strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact. Identify opportunities for service and program improvement and develop special reports with recommendations. Assist with the development of operational plans, procedures and systems. Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvement. Maintain awareness of and comply with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or a related field and one year of statistical analysis experience/five years of relevant healthcare setting experience OR High School Diploma and five years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and three years of experience OR Master’s Degree Excellent analytical, communication and customer service skillsOur caregivers continue to create the best outcomes for our patients across each of our facilities.
