Job title:
As Department Assistant R&D, you will support the Sr. Director of Imaging Chain Cluster within IGT- Systems (including the wider R&D organization via the functional account) in secretarial and organizational matters. The Business Unit Image Guided Therapy Systems (IGT Systems) is part of the Image Guided Therapy Business Group. This Group provides solutions for diagnosis and treatment in clinical domains such as cardiology and neurology. You will be located in Best and are expected at the office in Best at least 3 days a week. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who will get the department moving and increase togetherness.

Your role:

Accurate management of the daily calendar, anticipating last minute changes and setting priorities.You need to team up with other R&D assistants to support colleagues in the R&D Support Team with all general tasks, such as travel and visa, social events, coordinate & prepare trainings, on- /off boarding and migration process, creating and follow up on purchase orders, maintaining contacts with visitors and suppliers and retain all applicable administrative tools.Performing, entirely independently, the range of secretarial tasks by using tools i.e. MS Office, SRM, SAP/Ariba, Workday, Concur, Planon Self Service, Sharepoint, Philips Intranet, Philips community etc.Local facility, building, workplace management, incl. (potential) safety issues and maintaining the floor plan.On-/Off boarding (including organization of farewells).Remain knowledgeable of corporate policies and maintain a high level of integrity.Organizing (and hosting) meetings, events, (video) conferences, web casts. Planning and co-ordination of department year schedule and related meetings with various stakeholders.

You're the right fit if:

At least 3 years of experience in an assistant role in a dynamic and large international environment organization.Bachelor level.You have a passion to support people and apply strong organizational and coordination skills, with a proactive mindset and ability to work independently.You can easily manage IT tools and communication technologies and have a good understanding of Microsoft Office and other administrative IT tools.You have a strong work ethic and positive attitude. You can deal with sensitive, complex and confidential information. You are discrete and trustworthy, structured, and accurate.You have strong verbal and written communication skills in English (working language). You need to have at least a B1 level of the Dutch language.
