Job Summary
Department Coordinators play an integral part in the operations of our community-based physician practices. Dedicated to administrative support, these Coordinators serve as the gatekeepers of our practices and ensure that teams are delivering the highest quality experience, exceeding our patients' expectations.
Qualifications
-High School graduate or equivalent required
-Associate's degree preferred
-A minimum of two years of medical office experience preferred

Provides Departmental support by performing receptionist and clerical dutiesScheduling patient appointmentsSupports the unique care needs of patients with wound, ostomy or continence problems.Collaborates frequently with other clinical services related to ordering/supplying wound/ostomy self-care and products.Referral management and health insurance payor review specific to this patient population and the specialized medical supply needs.Answering the telephone system promptly and gathering screening information; taking, relaying, and managing messages and/or providing routine information. Retrieving voicemail messages, returning calls, and forwarding messages as neededOrganizing and maintaining patient records, logs and other controlling systems; retrieving files as needed.
