Job DescriptionPlant Technical Expertise (TEF) Owner.Lead the TEF department (target and disciplinary), providing governance and frameworks, offers service portfolio to the business teams.Develop and deploy TEF strategy and roadmap in order to drive the factory towards digitalization, smart automation and latest technology changes, e.g. I4.0, highly digital connected, AI.Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize TEF operations, improve efficiency, and enhance direct and indirect productivity.Ensure that all relevant competencies are identified and built up, coaches and develops staff team members.Monitor relevant KPIs, define, initiate and manage relevant processes / capabilities.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute manufacturing strategies that align with business objectives.Maintain and foster a close exchange with the technical community across plants, business units and division to realize process standardization and for effective alignments, good-practice sharing.Oversee the selection, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing technologies, systems and equipment.Define standards for lines and equipment.Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous learning within the TEF department.Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards and best practices.Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Bosch Production System, utilizing lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement methodologies.Controls target achievement of the plant technical functions, derive Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP).Stay updated on industry trends, advancements and emerging technologies in manufacturing to drive innovation and competitiveness.Manage department budget, ensuring optimal resources allocation and cost control.Drive and implement Industry 4.0 digital solutions i.e., equipment connectivity, packaging and product tracing/registration system.Ensure plantwide ergonomic compliance, perform periodic ergonomic assessment and necessary equipment modernization.Strategic production area layout planning, new line setup and workstation modification.Responsible for machines & equipment, and processes development for new projects launching, include construct of new special-purpose machines and support line set-up, quality and productivity improvement.Preventive maintenance (TPM) and repair of production equipment and fixtures. (Ensures smooth production, elimination and prevention of productions downtimes due to technical issues).Ensure manufacturing data security and protection.Master of the machinery spare parts management (overseeing and managing the spare parts consumption).Expert of the Time management MTM-UAS analysis (Methods-Time Measurement - Universal Analyzing System) (define and coaching the Production standard time study and process confirmation, cultivate awareness and education of production engineers).Transfers or relocations of machines, equipment and production lines.Distributes knowledge, lessons learned and good practice (shared intelligence) to improve performance and achieve technical operative excellence.Lives and fosters a high performance culture within working environment.Interacts with cross functional team within Plant and Bosch as well as with external parties (such as suppliers etc.).Work closely and collaboration across other plants to develop, standardize and roll-out technical processes across plants.Any other duties assigned by the immediate superior.QualificationsBachelor or Master Degree in Technical area (Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical or Electronic Engineering) with six years related experience in technical functions and/or manufacturing operations and at least three years leadership experience.Strong manufacturing process, technology knowledge and knowledge of industry’s best practices.Expert in Bosch production System, TPM, MTM, FMEA, 7S, Microsoft office, familiar in using SAPI4.0 knowledge and insight.Quality Management Knowhow (e.g. FMEA, Control Plan, Problem Solving).Experience in relocation of production.Professional in equipment design and fabrication.New technology / machines & equipment adaption and application.Experience in Industrial engineering / Ergonomic.Encourages entrepreneurial and “out of the box” thinking and acting in order to identify future needs.Has comprehensive user insights and uses synergies with other areas for improving products and services.Participating in development, living and driving the change related to people and technology.
