Position Information **Position/Rank** Associate Professor - Professor **Department** 01945 - General Neurology **City** Salt Lake City, UT **Track** Track Dependent on Qualifications **New Position to Begin** **Details** The Department of Neurology, Division of General Neurology at the University of Utah is seeking a neurologist at the Associate Professor to Professor level for consideration of being Division Chief. Academic rank and track are dependent on applicant qualifications. The applicant must be BC/BE in Neurology. Our Division of General Neurology currently includes 9 neurologists with expertise in tele-health, systems of care, neuroimaging, neuro-rehab, neuro-education, and clinical trials. We are a dynamic group of neurologists who pride ourselves on our collaborative spirit and our commitment to patient care. Two of our division’s neurologists currently serve in leadership roles within the Department, one as a Vice Chair and the other as a Medical Director. As a division, we support and lead cutting-edge care through our robust tele-neurology program, serving nearly 30 hospitals in 6 states.Our outreach extends to underserved populations, including the homeless, the incarcerated, and rural patients both in-person and via telemedicine. You will have the chance to influence both clinical practice and academic training, with options to engage in resident continuity clinics, inpatient services, and tele-neurology duties.
