Department Support Assistant
**Employment Type:** Full time **Shift:** Day Shift **Description:** Hours: Days What you will do: · Maintains and updates patient's medical record which includes processing physician's orders and posting reports. · Records and enters the unit specific patient charges in the computer. · Orders SPD supplies. · Orders unit office supplies from the computer. · Orders print shop supplies. · Logs patients in and out of patient logbooks. · Answers call lights. · Updates Catheterization Laboratory Schedule. · Updates Unit Nursing Manager/Charge Nurse with admission calls. · Calls consults and documents on Kardex. · Responsible for maintaining assigned employees timecards in the Kronos system and other timekeeping functions. Communicates with employees regarding missing punches on timecard and monitors the Kronos edit log weekly Qualifications: · High school diploma, or equivalent required. · Proof of completion of Mandatory Reporter abuse training specific to population served within three (3) months of hire. **Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion** Trinity Health is one of the largest not-for-profit, Catholic healthcare systems in the nation.
