The Role 

We are looking for a Departmental Assistant to join our growing Global Technology team in London. The position reports to the Executives within the International Technology Team. This hybrid role requires onsite presence at least 3 days a week or more, as mandated by the business, in the CAA offices at Hammersmith, London.  

 

The Department 

The mission of the International Technology Team is to bridge the gap between the Tech operation and CAA’s expanding global footprint, with their specific requirements and localisation differences in mind. Our mission is to ensure CAA’s best in-class Tech function is maintained throughout the international regions. 

 

Responsibilities 

Provide comprehensive administrative function, supporting executives within the Global Technology team, including managing calendars for each executive, setting up and scheduling meetings, reserving conference rooms, routing incoming calls to appropriate personnel, managing expenses, etc.

Support the Office of the CTO executive role on task execution to all OCTO related initiatives/projects/activities across the Global Tech and Data team. 

Organise and maintain Get to Know related activities for the Global Tech and Data team, including various team meetings and outings. 

Prepare the meeting / outing agendas and manage attendance to all the Global Tech team meetings / events.​ 

Support the development and optimisation of Global Technology Team processes and workflows 

General departmental support to ensure efficiencies across adoption & training, data management & integrity, platform & vendor support, budget & procurement, corporate mobile phone management amongst other relevant areas as required 

Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information and proprietary materials 

 

Qualifications 

Minimum 1 year of general office experience; Reception experience a plus 

Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint 

Strong organisation skills

Strong communication skills; able to relate technology concepts and projects to peers and explain to non-technical colleagues at staff and management positions 

Interest in pursuing a career in Technology 

Demonstrate a genuine passion for the entertainment industry (across television, film, music, etc.), staying well-informed on current trends, and key players within the industry 

Possess strong knowledge and understanding of various social media platforms
