Summary

JOB SUMMARY

Ensures that all services are delivered in accordance with the Mission Statement and S.P.I.R.I.T. Values of Carroll Hospice, and Carroll Hospital Center. Acts as an assistant to the Director of Hospice and Clinical Manager for Hospice. Under minimal supervision provides clerical support for Hospice departments. Performs a variety of duties including answering all incoming calls to clinical department, communicating with nursing staff, creating and maintaining reports and correspondences in a timely manner.

REQUIREMENTS Preferred High School Diploma Basic knowledge of medical terminology and secretarial training. Medical records background preferred. Less than 2 years Knowledge and experience with data entry. Work independently and in an organized manner. Demonstrates accurate verbal and written communication skills. Type a minimum of 45 words per minute. Required
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to work office equipment, personal computer, fax machine, telephone, printer and copier.
