Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Manager Project Management (Level 2) to join our diverse team of professionals at Edwards, CA.
You will oversee project operations, liaise between teams, and ensure project goals are met. Responsibilities include reviewing project status, managing budgets, and developing solutions to meet objectives. Tracks and manages key performance indicators for multiple IT systems, as well as ensuring maintenance data integrity.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, evaluate, and coordinate the installation and reconfiguration of hardware and software for data and communication networks.Propose management solutions to ensure that all communications requirements are based on future needs and current usage, optimizing cost savings.Prepare and ensure the existence of appropriate network documentation, including operational instructions.Conduct network analysis for both short- and long-range planning for in-house systems.Coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment.Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent and 14 years of relevant experience; OR Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of specialized experience.Active DoD Top Secret security clearance.Have and maintain a valid U.S. passport.Accept customer furnished quarters while away from primary work location and comply with mobility requirements.Meet medical requirements and vaccinations for worldwide travel.Willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.Willing to travel up to 25% annually.Ability to obtain and retain Special Program access clearance within 365 days from submission is a condition of employment.Preferred Qualifications:
Aviation and Aerospace Industry IT Operational supervisory experience.IT Systems Project Management.Time Compliance Technical Order development, review, and implementation.Experience coordinating work requirements across geo-separate teams.Knowledge of configuration management standards and practices.Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends, and on-call support 24/7.Supervisory experience in the Aviation, Aerospace, and Defense industry.Experience in IT System design requirements and implementation familiarity with Agile methodology.Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, database software, and relevant authoring utilities or development tools.Experience with statistical analysis of performance data and communications.Salary Range: $129,300.00 - $193,900.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
