As a Deployment and Aftermarket Specialist, you get to work with an astonishing team that plays a vital role in Carl Zeiss Limited. Show case your skills and experience with process enhancement.

Here’s what you’ll do:  

The Deployment & Aftermarket Specialist is responsible for the sales growth of Aftermarket products and services in a defined territory. The portfolio includes but it not limited to Software Maintenance Agreements, System Calibrations, Support Contracts, Software, Training & Accessories. The Deployment Aftermarket Specialist engages with existing customers to drive customer retention and installed base coverage.

 

Next to this, as Service Dispatch/Deployment, the person is the principal liaison responsible for the overall positive customer experience, in addition to the deployment of Field Service Technicians within Canada for all Zeiss machine installations, calibrations, repairs and pack & move requests. These tasks may involve new or used machines, loaner equipment or show equipment.  The Deployment Coordinator works closely with Sales, Operations, Technical Support and Customer Care to gather the machine installation, calibrations and repair requirements to effectively schedule the appropriate field technician based on skill set and availability to meet customer requirements
 

Work with the North American Aftermarket Sales Manager and the team to develop action plans to achieve monthly, quarterly & yearly sales quotas.Consistently apply the ZEISS Sales Process by offering our customers professional consultation, education, and relevant solutions.Regularly contact all existing customers within the defined territory; for both re-occurring customer needs and proactive selling activities.Prepare, present, and explain proposed solutions; follow up regularly to drive timely customer purchase orders.Maintain CRM data to reflect all sales activities, relationships & status of customer sale opportunities.Submit purchase orders along with detailed and accurate information to order processing teams; work together to ensure successful execution.Collaborate with other departments to deliver a positive customer experience; own the customer’s success.Collaborate with other sales teams / channels; share leads and customer market / customer insights.Scheduling of field service technicians in a specific geography for internal and external customers on machine installations, calibrations, repairs, pack & move, loaner equipment and show machines.Communicate and coordinate with customers the status and schedule of all service activities.Interface with all internal departments including Operations, Sales, Projects, Customer Care, Billing, Regional Service Managers and Technical support to ensure efficient scheduling of all Field Service Technicians based on field technician skill set, availability and customer requirements.Review and process job requests; including purchase orders, pricing verification, quote generation as well as document special instructions according to service procedures in order to ensure accurate and timely processing of customer request.Work collaboratively with Technical Support Team to build Pack and Move as well as Repair quotes.Maintain all open customer job files until completion and ensure that all appropriate correspondence is attached.Work closely with Tools Department to effectively coordinate, ship and track specialty tools as needed for each job.

Do you qualify?  

3-5 years working experience in a high volume Inside Sales or similar role.High School diploma required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).Previous formal sales training desired.Experience with a CRM system desired (SAP, Sales Force, MS Dynamics…).Knowledge of Industrial Metrology a plusAbility to speak and write in both French and EnglishAbility to work in a high-volume, high-pressure Sales environmentGood written and verbal communication skillsPositive attitude and a professional demeanorTechnology & computer savvy utilizing different software and other platformsAbility to reason and negotiate complex challenges with Colleagues and CustomersMust be a team player across the organizationExcellent written and verbal communication skills required.Excellent organizational skills required.
