Let’s talk about the teamThe Deployment Lead is responsible for the execution of deployment activities within the Global ERP Transformation Program (Genesis ERP). This role ensures a seamless transition from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP across dozens of global entities operating around the world. The Deployment Lead will report to the Program Operations Manager to build, manage and execute the Deployment Plan and coordinate with key business, technical, and change management stakeholders to design an approach that will prepare target entities many months in advance from a people, operations, technology and process perspective in order minimize operational disruption, drive adoption, and ensure business continuity.

Work collaboratively with the Change Director, Test Director, Business Readiness Leads, and other stakeholders to ensure readiness, training plans, and support structures are established for successful deployment.
Develop and execute a structured deployment strategy aligned with program milestones, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Define clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making structures across deployment waves.
Manage engagement with the Systems Integration (SI) Partner, ensuring deployment tasks such as system cutovers, data migrations, and hypercare support align with program objectives.
Work closely with the Genesis Program Core Team, including Program Management, Functional and Technical Leads, to ensure seamless execution of deployment activities. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to address business and technical challenges.
Lead the deployment team—including Deployment Managers, Technical Leads, and Support Specialists—to provide hands-on coordination, issue resolution, and hypercare support during deployment waves.
Establish and manage deployment performance metrics, ensuring timely tracking of deployment progress, risk mitigation, and stakeholder communication. Report deployment status to program leadership and adjust execution plans as needed.
Promote a high-performance, collaborative culture within the deployment team, ensuring strong stakeholder engagement, accountability, and knowledge sharing.
Ensure that deployment activities adhere to regulatory and security compliance requirements, including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), GDPR, and industry-specific standards such as ISO13485. Implement best practices for audit readiness and risk management.
Let’s talk about you
Demonstrated success in leading large-scale ERP deployments in complex, global organizations. Extensive experience managing deployments of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or similar enterprise solutions.
Deep expertise in deployment methodologies, including big-bang, phased, and hybrid approaches. Experience implementing cutover plans, rollback strategies, and hypercare support models.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership, business units, and technical teams. Strong ability to listen and adapt deployment strategies to the unique operational needs of each entity.
Proficiency in program and project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches. Ability to lead multiple concurrent deployments while maintaining schedule adherence and quality.
Strong problem-solving and risk management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement. Proven ability to develop mitigation plans for deployment risks and unexpected challenges.
Preferred
Experience in leading Agile-driven deployments in enterprise ERP transformations.
Experience in the Life Sciences, healthcare, Medical Technology or technology sectors.
Expertise in ERP deployment planning, with a strong preference for candidates experienced in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP.
