Deployment Supervisor
**Overview** The Deployment Supervisor is responsible for the overall performance of the Deployment Department. This includes managing/overseeing a profitable and efficient operation while accomplishing company objectives through prioritization, inventory control, diagnostics, staffing, and quality control. **Responsibilities** **Essential Job Functions** **:** + Function as liaison betweenProfessional Servicesand Business Partners forall deploymentissues/communications with internal and external customers + Ensuredepartment activitiesareperformedincompliancewithprocedures + Makerecommendations as to the hiring, termination,advancement,promotion oranyother change of status for department employees + Verify data by comparing it to source documents; update existing data; retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested. + Request and format reports for management + TeamwithHumanResources to recruit, select,hire andtrain newteam members + Assumeresponsibilityand utilizeexistingcontrolstomaintainaccurateinventorylevels + Train, supervise,and delegateworkassignmentsto department employees + Monitors work-flow & adjusts employeeschedules accordinglytomeetcompanyobjectives(Schedulesmandatoryworkdaysforemployeeswhenadditional support isneeded) + Addressteammemberissues/problems/concerns + Complete department employeeevaluations + Oversee department planning + Recommend andimplement actions/changesneededtoincreaseefficiencieswithinthedepartment + Issue discipline to department employees + Conduct periodicinventory auditsandresolve discrepancies + Monitorthe statusand prioritization of work orders + Arrange for delivery orshipment of deployment merchandise as required + Conduct testingand troubleshooting functions withtheassistance of informationintheform of written or verbaldescriptions/diagrams + Maintainthe deployment department incleanand orderlymanner + Performqualityinspections forallcompleted processesaswellasrandomqualityinspections oncompletedprocesses of subordinates for purposes of evaluating department performance + Performadditionalprojectsand/or assiston dailydepartmentalresponsibilitiesasneeded + Other duties as assigned **Requirements** **:** + Mustpossessbasicknowledgeofelectronicpartssuchas harddrive,memory,acadapter,etc. + Working knowledge ofMicrosoftOffice andWindows + Previousmanagement/supervisory experience + Must be abletothinkstrategically & establish direction + Effectiveteammanagement andcommunicationskills + Strongleadership qualities + Abilitytobalanceandcoordinateworkloadformultipleprojects + Possessgood organizational,decision-making,andlogicaltroubleshootingskills + Detail-oriented + Abilitytolearnnewapplicationsand programs + Must be abletolift and/or move objects with a weight of 20to 50lbs + Abilitytoworkindependentlyaswellasin a teamenvironment Panasonic is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
