We’re looking for a Depot Engineer based in Dumbarton to help ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of our equipment, contributing to the success of our team and customers.

Ensure the completion of repairs and overhauls on time, to standard, and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.Ensure adherence to safety practices and quality standards.Carry out the total maintenance of equipment.Maintain the stock levels of materials required and ensure that the appropriate tools are in place and ready for use.Report and document component failures.Contribute to optimum team performance and capability by providing quality work to maintain and enhance the reliability of equipment.Assist, support, and train service crew.Test and evaluate refurbished and repaired generators and prepare test reports as per ISO standards.You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Educated to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering/mechanical subject (can include apprenticeship).Experience servicing and repairing large engines (generators, HGV, plant equipment, agricultural machinery).Good organisational and communication skills.Good level of PC literacy, including basic MS Office applications.Well-organised and capable of keeping a vehicle to GSCS standards.Find out more and apply now.
