Our Opening and Your ResponsibilitiesOur Pipette Service Centre Technicians deliver prompt, efficient, and effective maintenance and calibration services to meet customer requirements while enhancing the service profitability of Mettler Toledo. In this role, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of our industry-leading equipment. All training will be provided!
To succeed in this position, you will focus on the following key responsibilities: Perform routine service and calibration of customer instruments to ensure maximum operational uptime and full compliance with customer standards. Engage in ongoing training to develop and refine your technical skills, thereby enhancing the overall customer experience. Strictly adhere to all Mettler Toledo Quality and Health and Safety procedures to ensure safe and consistent work practices in alignment with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Act as a Trusted Advisor to customers, providing guidance on the use and maintenance of their equipment to foster strong customer relationships. Successfully complete an annual calibration competency test for various pipettes to maintain ongoing competence and compliance with industry standards.Your expertise and commitment will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service and maintaining the high standards associated with Mettler Toledo.What You Need to SucceedStrong attention to detail is essential, as you will be responsible for providing accurate calibration and servicing to ensure our equipment is maintained to the highest standards.While prior experience with pipettes—gained through education or previous work—is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. We will provide you with all the necessary tools and training to succeed in your role. However, you must be capable of working independently and self-motivating to achieve your goals. For the right candidate, there may be flexibility in working hours, which can be discussed during the interview. The ideal candidate will possess practical or technical experience in a biochemistry environment and demonstrate strong communication skills.
