Program Director, Prosthodontics

The Department of Comprehensive Dentistry at the UT Health, School of Dentistry at San Antonio invites qualified applicants for a full-time faculty position as the Program Director of the Advanced Education Program in Prosthodontics. Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the recruitment, training and supervision of advanced education students in Prosthodontics. It is expected that the Program Director will provide leadership in strategic planning, curriculum management, financial responsibility and must ensure that the program complies with the programmatic requirements as laid out by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Specific duties will include didactic and clinical education of advanced education students, management of clinical staff, as well as clinical supervision of patient care. Having experience in Advanced Dental Digital technology is preferred.  Expectations include the development of congenial working relations with students, staff, and faculty.

Applicants must have a D.D.S. or D.M.D. or foreign equivalent, and a Texas Dental license or be license eligible. Interested applicants should have a Certificate in Prosthodontics from a CODA-approved program, and board certification is required.
