Department of Comprehensive Dentistry – Division of Oral Medicine/ Orofacial Pain

The UT Health San Antonio, School of Dentistry is looking for a full-time individual who is caring, driven and confident dentist to join our team. This position will hold an Assistant, Associate or Professor Clinical title. 

The candidate should have experience in clinical or pre-clinical teaching and will be required to teach didactic and clinical TMD and OFP courses. The candidate will provide other teaching activities to fulfill a full-time teaching position such as history taking, physical evaluation, oral medicine, and the management of the medically compromised patient. The interested individual will be proficient in Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and digital imaging and have comprehensive knowledge of primary dental care, coding, and standard documentation guidelines.

All interested applicants should have a DDS/DMD degree or foreign equivalent, and from a CODA-accredited dental school or international equivalent. Completion of an accredited advanced training program in orofacial pain or oral medicine (CODA-accredited orofacial pain or oral medicine program). Orofacial pain or oral medicine board eligibility is required, and board certification is preferred. The applicant must have a current Texas State Dental license or be eligible. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
