Education: An Associate's degree or completion of at least sixty (60) credit hours toward a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Certifications: CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design): Basic and Advanced Certifications required within six (6) months of appointment. BTAM (Behavioral Threat Assessment Management): Completion of the Threat Evaluation Reporting Course (TERC) or equivalent training/licensing in threat assessments required within one (1) year of appointment. IAHSS (International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety): Certification as a Certified Health Care Protection Administrator is preferred. Licenses: Must maintain a valid state driver’s license. Law Enforcement Certification: Must be certified through the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy within one (1) year of employment. Experience: A minimum of ten (10) years of law enforcement, military, or security experience is required. At least five (5) years of verifiable supervisory experience in healthcare security, general security, law enforcement, military, or a related field is required. Other Requirements: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
