Now’s your chance. **The Opportunity** Abt Global seeks a qualified Deputy Chief of Party for an anticipated USAID-funded bilateral activity to increase access to and utilization of integrated, sustainably financed primary and community health care in Cambodia. The position will be based in Phnom Penh. The expected objectives of the Sustainable Outcomes through Primary Healthcare Integration (SOPHI) activity will be (1) Improved enabling environment for integrated primary health care; (2) Strengthened sustainable health financing; and (3) Improved access to and care seeking of high-quality primary health care services. This position is contingent upon award of the anticipated project to Abt Global and approval of the candidate by USAID. **Core Responsibilities** + Provide managerial and technical support to the Chief of Party, assisting in areas including work planning, performance management, and strategic communications. + Supervise project subcomponents and activities.  + Liaise with USAID, government counterparts, and local partners/stakeholders.  + Manage and supervise the work of project personnel and subcontractors.  + Supervise the project’s technical team, including partner teams, to ensure delivery of project objectives.  + Collaboratively create and implement a strategic, long-term programmatic vision. **What We Value** + Master’s Degree in a related field such as Public Health/Health Management, Epidemiology, Nursing, Medicine or local equivalent + 10 years of relevant experience. + 7+ (10+ preferred) years of relevant professional experience in managing complex health programs. Experience in managing USAID programs is preferred (but not required.) + Policy development and advisory experience to national health leaders on health system strengthening, resulting in demonstrated improved and sustained health outcomes. + Experience in a formal setting interacting with executive level government representatives. + Excellent negotiation skills and the ability to lead and build consensus, cooperation, and coalitions among individuals with competing interests.  + Demonstrated technical experience in primary health care delivery preferred.  + Demonstrated ability to research and analyze state policies, regulations and standards related to the enabling environment and service delivery for integrated primary health care and make recommendations for improvement.  + Professional knowledge of English, written and spoken, and fluency in Khmer. **What We Offer** We foster an environment where you can Thrive Your Way.
