Deputy Chief of Party - USAID/Indonesia HIV/AIDS Flagship Activity
Palladium seeks an experienced Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) for an anticipated five-year USAID-funded HIV/AIDS Flagship project to accelerate the Government of Indonesia’s progress in achieving and sustaining HIV epidemic control by 2030 with a focus on optimizing access, quality, and delivery of services, particularly for key populations.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Chief of Party (COP), the
DCOP/Technical Advisor leads technical aspects of the project in compliance
with USAID and Palladium rules and regulations to achieve project objectives. Illustrative
responsibilities include supporting the Chief of Party with strategic
leadership and oversight to the activity. Serving as a member of the senior
leadership team of the program and supporting the Chief of Party in oversight
of project staff and activities. Providing technical leadership to key project
areas: HIV/AIDS
prevention, diagnosis and treatment; health systems strengthening; integrated
care; service delivery and quality improvement; health policy. Oversee
programmatic functions as assigned by the Chief of Party. Maintaining effective
and open communication throughout the project with Chief of Party, USAID,
Project Director, Objective Leads, project operations teams, and other relevant
stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, producing
deliverables and targets, and achieving project results as specified by USAID
and Palladium requirements. Providing oversight, guidance, and direction to
technical staff and ensuring the strategic and functional integration of all
technical areas across the project and serving as Acting Chief of Party as
needed.
