Team Lead - Intercompany

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support Accounts payable, P2P, Intercompany activities in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. Each day, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing accounts payable data. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with the relevant accounting standards.The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite,#LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Finance in Bangalore-Hebbal.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tProvide leadership to delivery team on accounting of transactions for P2P and Intercompany in an accurate and timely manner while ensuring compliance with internal guidelines and procedures and external regulatory requirements.•\tMust have handled a team size of 30-40 employees and open for working in shifts•\tCreating a culture of delivery orientation, change management and professionalism in accounting both globally and locally in the Finance centers. Driving operational metrics performance management and responsible for people strategy (hiring, retention, training & development, performance management).•\tDriving projects globally with strong focus on simplification and efficiency gains and manage inter-company transactions and reconciliations between multiple entities within the company and review and approve journal entries, invoices, and other financial transactions related to inter-company accounts•\tWork with various departments to resolve discrepancies and reconcile inter-company accounts and prepare and analyze inter-company account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items•\tAssist with the implementation of new inter-company accounting policies and procedures and participate in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes•\tTrain and mentor staff members on inter-company accounting processes and procedures to collaborate with auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations

Qualifications for the role

\tYou are immersed engaged in Accounts Receivables, SAP, O2C, Intercompany activities\tProven experience of bachelor’s degree as BCOM or MBA in Accounting, Finance or Commerce, MCOM\t12 to 15+ years of extensive experience with strong exposure in managing large global teams in manufacturing industry OR audit firm .\tStrong knowledge of US GAAP and inter-company accounting principles \tExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills \tMust have handled a team size of 30-40 employees and open for working in shift
