Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Architecture Design & Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of infrastructure solutions for DevOps tools owned by us, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency. Focus on backend infrastructure, automation, and systems integration that meet both operational and business requirements. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Architect and implement infrastructure automation using tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and other infrastructure-as-code solutions to manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Backend Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, scaling, and management of backend systems and services, including servers, storage, networking, and databases. Ensure that these components support highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure DevOps pipelines. Operating Systems Expertise: Leverage deep knowledge of Linux, Windows, and other operating systems to architect and optimize infrastructure components for DevOps automation. Perform troubleshooting and performance tuning at the OS level to ensure seamless integration with DevOps tools. Automation & CI/CD: Drive automation of the tools infrastructure management. Tool Integration & Optimization: Manage integration between various DevOps tools such as SonarQube, JFrog Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift to create a seamless flow for code delivery and infrastructure management. Ensure high availability and low-latency access to all DevOps tools. Performance, Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Design and implement effective monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic to ensure performance visibility across all infrastructure components. Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and failures across complex systems. Security & Compliance: Implement DevOps security best practices including vulnerability scanning, patch management, identity and access management (IAM), and compliance with security standards. Collaborate with security teams to integrate security into the DevOps lifecycle. Collaboration & Mentorship: Work closely with other engineering teams to ensure that the infrastructure aligns with their needs and scales to meet business requirements. Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership in backend infrastructure design and automation best practices. Qualifications Technical Expertise: 14+ Years of experience in DevOps Deep expertise in Linux, Windows, and other OS, including installation, configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting at the OS level. Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and other automation tools to manage cloud and on-prem infrastructure. Hands-on experience in architecting CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps. Advanced knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift for managing complex environments. Strong understanding of backend infrastructure systems, including databases, storage systems, networking, and services. Proficient with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic, and experience in setting up performance monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting mechanisms. Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices. Implemented integrated monitoring solutions to correlate application, infrastructure, and performance metrics for real-time visibility across environments. Ability to write robust scripts that ensure smooth toolchain integrations across cloud, infrastructure, application, and database layers. Deep expertise in Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu), Windows Server, and other operating systems, with hands-on experience in system administration, configuration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting. Advanced skills in OS-level automation using scripting tools like Bash, PowerShell, and Python to configure, monitor, and secure systems across large-scale infrastructure. Experience managing operating system performance, memory, CPU, and disk optimization to ensure that applications and services run efficiently on the underlying OS. Expertise in OS-level integration with DevOps tools to automate deployments, configuration management, and continuous delivery pipelines Should know ITIL (incident, change , problem, service request) -- preferably Service Now as tool Certifications - Microsoft certified azure solution architect expert, Redhat certified architect Linux certified architect Azure DevOps Certification AZ-900, AZ-400
