What You'll Do: Key Responsibilities As a Deputy Director of IT, you will: + Serve as the principal deputy to the IT Director, providing both strategic and operational leadership. + Oversee day-to-day operations across core IT functions: Help Desk, Network Operations, Virtual Infrastructure, Server Administration, Applications, and GIS. + Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of IT projects that align with organizational priorities. + Collaborate with County departments to assess needs and deliver innovative, cost-effective solutions. + Develop, implement, and maintain IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity compliance standards. + Manage and mentor IT staff, fostering growth, accountability, and service excellence. + Build and maintain strategic vendor and technology partner relationships. What We're Looking For: + 5+ years of progressive IT management experience. + Must possess a valid Driver’s License and have held it for at least 2 years. + Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, ERP, CRM, virtual infrastructure, networking, cloud-based platforms, help desk operations, and GIS. + Proven success in policy development, budgeting, and IT projects leadership. + Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
