Job Summary
The Deputy General Manager-S&M will be responsible for overseeing and managing the sales and marketing operations of the company. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in business processes and a proven track record in driving sales growth. The ideal candidate will have 12 to 16 years of experience and will work from home during day shifts. No travel is required for this position.
Responsibilities
Lead the sales and marketing teams to achieve company targets and objectives.Oversee the development and implementation of sales strategies to drive revenue growth.Provide guidance and support to team members to ensure high performance and professional development.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of sales and marketing strategies with overall business goals.Monitor and report on sales performance metrics to senior management.Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.Implement business process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Drive the adoption of best practices in sales and marketing processes.Manage the sales and marketing budget to ensure optimal allocation of resources.Develop and deliver presentations to clients and stakeholders to promote company products and services.Utilize data and analytics to inform decision-making and strategy development.Qualifications
Possess a strong background in business process management with relevant experience.Demonstrate excellent leadership and team management skills.Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Show proficiency in using data and analytics tools to drive decision-making.Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Display a proven track record in driving sales growth and achieving targets.Have experience in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies.Be knowledgeable about market trends and competitor activities.Show ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.Demonstrate proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.Be familiar with industry regulations and compliance requirements.Exhibit strong presentation and negotiation skills.The Cognizant community:
