Key missions of the position:
Manufacturing Process owner for Brakes & Coupler product lines (including Special Processes) within FT Hosur.Build, manage and improve on continuous improvement basis the industrial and industrial oriented & connected activities of B & C product lines, meeting the needs of the customer, reach and optimize the goals in terms of Quality, Cost & Deliveries.Responsibilities
Design, prove, implement and maintain Manufacturing processes to deliver product on time, to quality requirements and to costDrive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle time, process improvement, machine availability through lean techniques and value engineering to enhance the capability of existing processes and remove wastesDevelop and maintain project plans and budget profiles (CAPEX & REVEX) to ensure delivery of milestones to agreed cost targets and timescalesIdentify and justify capital equipment investmentMonitor M3 (ERP) sanity and drive reduction of negative inventory due to MBoM errorSpecial Process Coordinator for Brakes & Coupler processesCoordinate for customer & statutory audits withn Process EngineeringCapacity and capability analysis and inputs to Strap and SIOPParticipate in plant-level QRQCProvide resource hours allocation for customer and industrial projectsAnalyse process downtime, identify trends and develop solutionsMotivate and coach the team to operational successDrive the team to create the standard for MOST, SMH Optimization, Capacity enhancement, Ergonomics & Layout planningDrive & support the team for taking necessary actions on OpsVision (Kaizen, Downtime, Non-downtime & BBS points)Drive validation plans to ensure robust and comprehensive technical solutionsWhat education and education level are necessary for the position?Bachelor or Masters degree in Mechanical EngineeringExposure/certification in Business Management /Administration or similar will be preferredExposure/certification in Special Processes/MOST or similar will be preferred.How many years of professional experience in a specific professional area are required for the position?16 + years in Process Engineering /Manufacturing Engineering/Industrialization
