About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 14 Talent Searching of Deputy Head of Japan Office 1.PURPOSE: State briefly (in one or two sentences) the overall purpose of the position.The purpose is to secure human resource who can be as a candidate for a future Head of Japan Office. In order to develop the ability to control all operations of S&P Dow Jones Indices Japan office, the candidate need to proactively assist Head of Japan Office and contribute to the business expansion and profitability improvement of Japan office. 2. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITY, EDUCATION: Minimum 20+ years of outside sales experience in local/global financial markets and ideally,5years experience of team management. Possession of a relevant University degree would be an advantage. Well developed Sales and team management skills, knowledge and as Deputy Head of Japan office roles and the ability to acquire new skills and knowledge as part of the work experience. Sound organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines, show initiative and make timely, reliable decisions. Well developed oral and written communication skills. Possesses good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese. Well developed interpersonal, liaison and presentation skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships. Ability to adapt to changing environment and to work effectively as part of a team within the larger departmental and global framework. Possesses a high degree of personal and corporate values and ethics. Ability to build a strong rapport with senior management in order to represent Management. The position requires highly developed interpersonal skills for negotiations with third party suppliers, persuading and obtaining cooperation from various external and internal parties. Advanced computer skills including MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, database software. Must be detail oriented and have a follow through completion mentality. 3. Pursuit of maximum revenue Fully Responsible for achieving annual ACV goal as Deputy Head of Japan Office Prepare mid to long term business plan and show her commitment C. Strengthen sales capabilities Establish own advanced negotiation skills with our local clients Establish new business development capabilities including effective event planning such as ETF Conference To liaise and coordinate with all major departments, such as Product, R&D and IMPG within S&PDJI to ensure the support and efforts are effective utilized in facilitating our success in JapanD.
