Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain general ledger accounts and related activities for the production of financial statements and reportsReconcile, analyze and review general ledger accounts in preparation for month end closePrepare journal entries and reviews accounting classifications, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principlesPrepare documentation in support of external and internal auditsPerform ad hoc reporting and analysis and investigate issues providing explanations and interpretationAnalyze and prepare financial statements, including balance sheets and statements of financial positionAssist with or lead the month end quarterly end close process for assigned businesses or groupsPerforms work in a self-directed manner and works with less structured, more complex issuesServe as a resource to othersComply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). The Company may adopt, vary or rescind these policies and directives in its absolute discretion and without any limitation (implied or otherwise) on its ability to do so

Required Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experienceBachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent 8+ years of professional accounting experienceSolid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statementsIntermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPointDemonstrated ability to assess and interpret customer needs and requirementsDemonstrated ability to identify solutions to non-standard requests and problemsDemonstrated ability to solve moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses
