Deputy Manager Finance & Administration Delivery - Record to Report
**Introduction** As a Deputy Manager - Record to Report (R2R), you are responsible for general accounting which includes reconciliations, preparation of Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss account, Fixed Assets Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Cash & Bank Accounting financial analysis and reporting. Your primary responsibilities include: * Co-ordinating all accounting activities associated with the General Ledger particularly fixed assets, inter-company, inventory, cash and bank, indirect tax and accruals. * Identify risks or opportunities to revenues, cost and profitability and propose appropriate actions. * Ensure client Service Level Agreements (SLA) and timelines are met. **Your role and responsibilities** As a Manager - Finance and Administration Delivery, you are responsible for the project service request management, delivery status reporting and financial forecasting, reporting and analysis. This position develops and makes the day-to-day PMA operations more efficient. Your primary responsibilities include: * Manage service delivery of Procure to Pay (P2P) processes in scope. * In charge of invoice processing, vendor master management; query resolution, indexing, Invoice reconciliation and accounts reporting activities. * Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met on timelines and accuracy. * Ensure proper financial treatment of the team's transactions. * Maintain a sound Internal control environment. * Lead Special Projects and handle customer expectations. * Ensure feedback is provided for the process. * Systematically identify, analyze, and tackle issues and problems to reach optimal solutions on time. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Graduate with a minimum of 8+ years of experience in the Record to Report (R2R) domain. * Experience in preparing Balance Sheets, handling Month-End Close, Fixed Assets, Inter-company, and Cash Reconciliations. * Posting Journal entries and recording the transaction in the ERP. * People management experience will be an added advantage. * Proven expertise in coordinating audits and managing customer expectations. * Demonstrated expertise in managing report updates for Management reviews. * Proven experience in Client management and working in a fast-paced environment will be preferred. **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Working knowledge of ERP environment preferred Ambitious individual who can work under their direction towards agreed targets/goals. * Ability to manage change and be open to it good time management and an ability to work under stress. * Proven interpersonal skills while contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Maintain technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing publications. * We wish you great success in your career and encourage you to bring your best self to work with IBM.
