Danfoss is looking for Quality professional who will be part of Danfoss DMD - Dedicated & Machinery Drives supply Chain organization into the Enclosure Drives value stream.
Job ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
• Work closely with project managers and derive the Quality assurance plan as per the customer requirements.
• Expert In stage + final Inspections and recording it in the Job card
• Ensure routine panel testing activity and ensure its completeness before calling for the customer inspection.
• Ensure 5S on shopfloor and lead for daily monitoring.
• Managing the sub-contractor of panel manufacturing for their quality performance & leading improvement activities.
• Manage Inspection & testing team for their productivity and effectiveness of inspection.
• Conducting daily morning meeting with CFT team to take the actions of daily quality issues.
• Ensure 5S on shopfloor and lead for daily monitoring.
• Ensuring DBS requirements for quality performances are monitored & tracked for improvement.
• Work with the cross functional team to resolve line failures using Just Do It / 4-Step OR 8D method.
• Managing internal & external COPQ metric & leading the improvements.
• Handle customer complaints and prepare/evaluate counter measures in 8D.

Having an engineering educational background on bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical / electronics Educated in quality methodology and tools Having at minimum some years of experience in managing quality in the mechanical, electronics industry Having 8-10 years of work experience User of Microsoft and other IT tools (e.g. Minitab) Preferable six-sigma green belt / Lean green belt Project or line management skills
