Roles and responsibilities 

Design and review of end to end Technology solution (On-premise / Cloud platform - M365, Azure, AWS) Ensuring CIS and security best practices are implemented for new and existing applications, products and IT infrastructure (Technology Solutions) implementation within organization or provided to clients Conducting technical assessment and reviews of implemented Technology solutions implemented - On-premise, Cloud infrastructure (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS platforms) for effectiveness Review of Policy, Procedure and Hardening documents and having it aligned with CIS benchmark, Organization InfoSec policy and Regulation requirement (HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)  Provide security recommendations and guidance on technology implementations. Collaboratively working with Enterprise IT and Business continuity teams for  Develop, maintain, and update the IT disaster recovery plan in alignment with business continuity goals. Identify critical IT systems and data, prioritize recovery efforts, and establish recovery time objectives (RTO) and recovery point objectives (RPO). Conduct system risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities that could impact IT operations. Collaborate with other teams to assess the impact of various disaster scenarios. Develop and maintain incident response procedures for various disaster scenarios. Plan and execute technology disaster recovery exercises and simulations to test the effectiveness of the recovery plan. Provide training to staff members on technology disaster recovery procedures and best practices. 

 

 

Qualifications 

Any Graduate, preferably with B.E/ B.Tech in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience with IT security, Servers and Network platforms, Cloud platform (M365 / Azure / AWS) and Endpoint Security, IT disaster recovery planning and management. Strong knowledge of disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in backup and recovery solutions, including data replication. 

 

Additional information 

Clear understanding of IT technologies platforms (IT security - Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Servers, Networks, Database, VPN, Proxy, DLP, Zero Trust, CSPM, Endpoint Security (Desktop / Laptop / Thin clients), Cloud platforms (M365, Azure, AWS), Defender for cloud, etc, fundamentals of High availability and redundancy planning, resiliency  Preferred – MCSE, CCNA, Certification (Azure, AWS) Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Continuity Professional, Certified Information Systems Security Professional) or any other in BCP / DR are a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well under pressure and lead cross-functional teams during recovery efforts.
