Job Description:

Manage and execute logistics and supply chain operations, ensuring high level of quality and customer satisfaction. Maintain high service levels at all times and assist the company in achieving its objectives and targets.

Responsible for inbound/outbound operations in warehouse and manager will lead, manage, and develop 4-5 direct reports and approximately 10+ associates/temps performing warehousing services for our core go-to-market verticals in Technology Solutions with a focus on cost, customer quality and reliability.

Qualifications:

Experience - No. of yrs – A total of 7 – 10 years of experience in Logistics and Warehousing of which at least 2-4 years should be in a managerial position,Industry – IT / Telecom industry experience/knowledge preferred,Ability to work in a culturally diverse environment and work well under pressure and tight deadlines,Effective managerial and Leadership skills,Familiarity with development of process and procedures to reduce costs and improve efficiency,Mature personality with ability to develop people and build effective teams,Preferred to have knowledge on Turkish customs Rules and Regulations,Preferred to have an experience of Business Process reengineering, Six Sigma or Lean background.

Responsibilities:

Turkish Warehousing Operations – Performance, Cost Control and Budget Responsibility

Supporting Actions:

Establish and monitor performance:Managing the Operations team to departmental KPI's and where appropriate establish/track new KPI's,After an introduction period of understanding existing solutions, begins designing possible improved solutions,After implementing the solutions, establishes and monitors performance to ensure that goals are being met,Finally, chooses his/her best option and begin instituting directives, standardizing measures and training staff,Accurate and consistent reporting on continuous process improvement.Be an active part and Lead Lean Deployment at İstanbul Warehouse,To ensure successful rollout of Lean deployment in Warehouse by reducing/eliminating waste and increasing Productivity and Delivery throughput,Motivate and lead the Logistics & Warehouse team towards offering a higher level of service to both the internal and external customers,Work actively in Loss Control and Risk Management programs and initiatives,Responsible for Compliance with Customs practices,Coordinate operations in alignment with Local Rules and Regulations and all security standards and requirements of insurance policy concerning transportation and storage of goods.
