Job Description

HII, Mission Technologies has an opportunity available for a Deputy Program Manager who will support a DoD initiative that requires excellent communication skills. Position will require extensive collaboration with all levels of military and government personnel. Ideally, we are seeking a candidate with a background in RF or systems engineering.

 

This is a HYBRID position with onsite work requirements in Arlington, VA on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday every week. 

Essential Job Responsibilities Apply advanced technical concepts, techniques, and procedures in the development of RF technical products. Define and organize proposed projects into the tasks and activities needed to solve the problems being addressed. Schedule work to meet completion dates and technical specifications. Prepare and provide formal briefings to staff and project sponsors. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.  Minimum Qualifications 5 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience. Demonstrated command of engineering principles, methods, and techniques in area of expertise. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience supporting a DoD program  Clearance: Must have a SECRET security clearance Preferred Requirements 8 - 10 years of experience. RF and/or systems engineering. Wireless RF spectrum knowledge.
