Koniag Emerging Technologies (KET), is seeking a highly experienced and qualified Deputy Program Manager to support the execution and oversight of government contracts and professional services. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in business administration or a management field, an active Secret Security Clearance issued by the Defense Security Service (DSS), and a minimum of five years of experience in project/program management and managing government contracts with professional and administrative support services. **Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:** • Assist the Program Manager in overseeing and coordinating the execution of government contracts and professional services, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, project timelines, and performance requirements. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, subject matter experts, and operational personnel, to facilitate seamless project execution and address any challenges or issues that may arise. • Manage and allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and budgets, to optimize efficiency and productivity across multiple projects or contracts. • Monitor project performance and progress, identifying potential risks or issues, and implementing proactive mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery. • Develop and maintain effective communication channels with government clients, stakeholders, and senior management, ensuring transparent and timely reporting on project status, risks, and performance metrics. • Contribute to the development and implementation of project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and organizational objectives. • Participate in contract review and negotiation processes, providing input and recommendations to ensure favorable terms and conditions. • Foster a collaborative and efficient working environment, promoting continuous process improvement and adherence to best practices. • Assist in the preparation and presentation of comprehensive project reports, status updates, and presentations to clients and senior management. • Mentor and provide guidance to project teams, ensuring knowledge transfer and adherence to established policies, procedures, and quality standards. **Requirements:** **Education:** • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in business administration, management, or a related field. Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • U.S. Citizenship. • Active Secret Security Clearance issued by the Defense Security Service (DSS). • Minimum of 5 years of project/program management experience. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing government contracts with professional and administrative support services. • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with excellent oral and written communication abilities. **Desired Skills and Competencies:** • Experience in a government or defense industry environment, with knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements. • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid approaches. • Knowledge of contract management, risk mitigation, and resource allocation strategies. • Proficiency in stakeholder management and effective communication strategies with clients and senior management. • Experience in leading and mentoring project management professionals. • Understanding of quality assurance and quality control processes for project delivery and contract compliance. • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations and make sound judgments. **Requirement:** + Secret clearance required.
