Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic Deputy Program Manager to lead key initiatives for the Defense Health Agency (DHA). This role is pivotal in managing extensive, geographically dispersed contracts that provide professional medical and support services, either supplementing existing staff or delivering comprehensive operational solutions in federal health facilities. The Deputy Program Manager will be responsible for overseeing client-based program operations, managing day-to-day project activities, and maintaining high levels of quality and client satisfaction. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with experience in federal government projects who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the day-to-day operational aspects of projects and program scopeAct as the primary point of contact between our company and DHA program officials, maintaining regular communication to update on program status and manage risksCoordinate, schedule, and direct support tasks and functionsOversee subcontract negotiations and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure timely and quality service deliveryMitigate and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the project lifecycleEnsure compliance with contract requirements and quality management systems (QMS)Maintain strong and positive relationships with clients to guarantee their satisfactionWork closely with Luke Corporate Support Personnel to streamline operationsEnsure acceptable levels of profit and revenue across diverse clients and business lines

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or managerial discipline (or committed to completing a degree program) OR 4 years of relevant work experience1+ years of experience in federal government projects, either as a Supervisor, Department Manager, or highly technically qualified in the project disciplineStrong analytical, written, oral, and presentation skills

Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentExceptional time management and multitasking skillsStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with various personalitiesComfortable with prioritizing multiple projects and meeting short notice deadlinesHigh level of flexibility and adaptability
