Deputy Program Manager
Job Description A top investor-owned energy client is currently looking for a Deputy Program Manager to join its Clean Energy Networks team. The client provides a wide range of energy-related products and services to its variety of customers which include renters, residential owners, small businesses and nonprofits, commercial, industrial and more. They are currently operating as one of the world's largest energy delivery systems across clean energy, electric, gas and steam services. The Clean Energy Network group sits under the larger Energy Efficiency umbrella and has a large spend budget to run complex programs and build energy / cost saving programs for customers. These programs engage and empower the market with energy efficiency initiatives and span across financial, educational, marketing and technical groups, helping with overall savings on electric and gas. The team is currently looking for a Deputy Program Manager who will be involved primarily in working directly with technology vendors / providers but will also be responsible for assisting the team in other ad hoc duties as required. The Deputy Program Manager will be working directly with tech providers to assist in the execution of hard to implement technologies for clients including heat pumps, building envelope measures, waste heat recovery measures, and more. He/She will be working with contractors and technical providers within the energy space and will collaborate closely with the Trade Allies to ensure cost savings and incentives are in place in order to reach business goals. In addition to this, the Clean Energy Network team hosts roughly 25 webinars on an annual basis and the Deputy Program Manager will assist in organizing and creating the presentation decks as well as speaking / presenting, if needed. We are looking for a candidate who is sharp, organized and has strong inter-personal skills. The candidate should be consistent with up-to-date energy / sustainability trends, cutting edge technologies and opportunities to drive transformation. The Deputy Program Manager will need to be comfortable with public speaking in a webinar setting as well as working with third-party providers / vendors so it is pivotal that this individual has strong presentation and communication skills.
